Rapid Recovery & Mobility Restoration for Judo • Jiu-Jitsu • Wrestling

Striking, Wrestling, Kicking and Grappling Takes a Toll

Every martial artist knows — you can’t roll, clinch, or shoot without paying a physical price.
The very movements that make your art effective also stress the joints that keep you on the mat.
This 4-hour hands-on seminar is designed specifically for grapplers who want to recover faster, regain range of motion, and keep training for years to come.

Common Injuries Addressed

Neck

  • Neck cranks & choke tension
  • Herniated or bulging discs
  • Chronic tightness and nerve irritation

Shoulders

  • Kimuras, Americanas, Omoplatas
  • Frozen shoulder, limited mobility
  • Postural imbalances from constant rolling

Elbows

  • Arm bars and hyperextension
  • Pain at end-range of flexion or extension
  • Inflammation and lingering soreness

Wrists

  • Wrist locks and compression strain
  • Carpal tunnel, forearm tightness
  • Difficulty gripping the gi or opponent’s limbs

What You’ll Learn

Participants will leave with:
  • Increased range of motion in one or more affected joints
  • Reduced pain, stiffness, and achiness from training
  • Practical tools to keep healing and improving long after the seminar ends
These methods can be used immediately before, during, or after training to restore mobility and accelerate recovery.

The Method Behind the Results

The techniques demonstrated in this workshop are rooted in martial art principles and the osteopathic concept of Positional Release (Strain/Counterstrain) — a gentle, time-tested method for unlocking the body’s natural healing reflexes.
By working with the body — not against it — these techniques:
  • Calm the nervous system
  • Release tension patterns that restrict movement
  • Allow the body to naturally realign and recover
You’ll experience how a small, precise shift in position can make a joint instantly relax and move freely again — without force, pain, or risk of re-injury.

Important Note

This seminar will not repair structural damage such as:
  • Broken bones
  • Torn tendons, ligaments, or muscles
However — and this is key — by releasing the tension patterns surrounding those injuries, these techniques can help your body heal faster and more completely, reducing compensation and chronic pain.
